This is the route:

Route for mayhem on Sunday starts in Cardington-Hillfoot-A600 crossroads-Haynes Hill-Houghton Conquest-Cranfield Hill-Astwood-Newton Blossomville-Turvey-Carlton-Harrold-Dungy road towards Bozeat-Poddington-A6 on the oustkirts of Rushden-Melcbourne-Pertenall-Colmworth-over the A421 new road on bridge that links to Barford-Barford Crossroads-straight on at Barford bridge-Moggerhanger-Moxhill-Cople-Cardington

Register at the clubhouse from 8am.

66 miles starts at 9am.
54 miles (for the wimps) starts at 9.30am.

Worth doing just to get some miles in. Forget about keeping up with the front runners as there will be some top riders.
Might do it at an easy pace.

Yep I'm doing the 54 too. We can stop for coffee and cakes at halfway maybe. I'm definitely not treating this as any kind of competition and don't wanna get drawn in thankyou.
Jose is up for it too.
Any more takers?

It'll be the suggested ride for Sunday from me.

Have a hunch you can expect Phil, Millhouse, Unners, myself...

You need to bend from the hips - not the back. Try lengthening your stem.

Very Happy

Change of plans.
The hunch has told me not to ride on the coldest morning of the Winter so far.
Predicted clear skies in evening and low of -6C overnight leading to hard frost into morning.
Do Not Want.

I'm going out 1pm as usual in the relative warmth (7C) and sunshine.

Who went in the end?

Didn't manage it myself as I woke up late (3.10pm) after an awful night in Northampton. Embarassed

Rob, Phil, John (Peters).

I was too unreliable and met the peleton at astwood as I left my house about 9.40am

Was good. Only started to turn abit quick about 80% into it. Then the main peleton got split up abit.

I think it would had happened earlier if the front men knew the course!

I had a kip on Saturday afternoon. Wrong decision as I went to bed about am 6am ish on Sunday morning. So no surprise I turned my alarm off at 8am. But did get up after a phone call at 8.30am.

Would be good to do a race of some sorts during the summer - Mass start. Draft legal etc.

Try the MK Bowl if you wanna bunch race. Very few closed road races happen in UK as far as I know.
I'd like to give it a go. Know I'll get dropped big time but it's all experience.

Got bored with the jerseys when no-one came up with any suggestions.
Will do it still but I want input.

I would like to suggest that we get some cycling jerseys in time for warm weather.
