Amazing night
I only put in about 70% effort and got an ok time, as was recovering from a thigh strain the week before and didnt want to push it, main aim was to be round in under 34 mins, so to post 30:45 is amazing, Just makes TTs so bizarre, you try hard and blow up and dont do that good a time, you dont try and pootle around (honestly heart rate was very low and breathing very normal coming into cople) and you do an ok time. where is the sense.
Quite interesting though, think the idea of going balls out at certain points and into the red zone doesnt pay off, being consistant does.
Well done to all those who did pbs etc last night, this is a fast year, no one is going that slow, we are being very competitive, makes it interesting.
Just hopes the injury clears fast now, so I can put in maybe 80% next week, at least I didnt make it worse !!! _________________ Mark Moon |

On the other hand to Onyer, I completely redlined it on the way out, was completely fcuked by the T-junction and paid for it until I could get the benefit of the following wind coming back into Cople. Still haven't ridden a good 11.3 all bloody year... _________________ Please insert Garmin to continue... |

Yes splendid, if I keep 'improving' at this rate I will make it past the 32 mark in a few weeks time and hit the sub 30 in an electric wheel chair after retirement!
then again may see if I can use my 'connections' to get some useful substances to speed up the process, but now that I am woking with Pfizer chances are low - what bloody use is Viagra?!?!?!?! _________________ Calories are the little critters hiding in your wardrobe at night, taking in your clothes |

If you had put in a 100% you could have shaved at least 15 secs off that. _________________ quitting before I get ahead... |

No doubt there are many candidates for it amongst the BRCC drones except there's probably an age/weight limit on safe usage.
Mid 30s I would hazard and sub 200kg.
Don't think WADA will be testing anytime soon at the hut. _________________ quitting before I get ahead...

Hanging my head in shame - especially with all those pb's. well done to all who kept going!
My legs were dead and there was no gas left in the tank (not the useful type anyway). Ran the day before which I've not done for a while and mental attitude wasn't it's normal competetive self.
Next week..... I may even complete!!??!!or at least get to the cross roads _________________ Hutchmeister |

No need....thought u might be pushing too hard all the time....??...Sit up & enjoy the sights now & again..Can even stop for cake if you like..?
All have bad/indifferent weeks, was overdoing it myself so had a couple of lonesome longer steady rides last weekend. Seems to have improved results as even the Saunier Duval rider only just overtook me...so last years fashion dont you think
So why me 5th & u 6th Max, being nice to me......wowowwow....
Off to play & train hard for next 2 weeks, someone else can have Unners (well done matey) chasing their rear...matron..

Never give up, just regulate, recover and go, rather than running yourself to that point where all is lost.
Sometimes on the worst nights you get to a point where you think your doing crap, and you look at the clock, and your not doing so bad.
Even if you are, its best to get a time on the board, than the default time, of something like 40 mins for the 10, and 42 for the 12, and as its only your top 5 races of each that count, so what if you have a bad week.
And in relative terms a bad week doesnt really exist, your doing something, and your learning more about how to work the course, and how to TT.
Time for a pint I think _________________ Mark Moon |
