Thought I start this now as it has been reliably reported that riders will set off from 18:45 this week.
This is to accommodate all the grotesque hordes of Genghis and other fun-loving criminals who turned up
last week and are reputed to still be camped behind the shed for an early sign-on!
How a riot was avoided...well that's anyones guesstimate.

Thanks for all the results Max. Sorry did not stay to call out the numbers, cold wet tired and not impressed last night. But looking at the results, not too bad. Still bloody useless on corners and the rain just made it even worse, I was pathetic, nearly wore out my brakes. Need to sort it out! Must lose at least 30sec all the way round on an average night, never mind when it is wet.

You were lucky your brakes worked, mine dont in the wet !!!!!!!

They make this swooshing noise but have very little effort on knocking any speed off, not that I had much last night, I know carrying my weight you would need more than a little bit of rubber touching the wheel to stop me.

It was pretty horrible by the time we finished, those of you that were lucky enough to go off early definately had the better weather. My feet were squelching by the time I was at the t junction.

Not a good night for me, too high centre of gravity with a lot of weight, meant extra extra caution on all corners, I even stopped at one point to take my glasses off as they had steamed up so much I couldnt actually see. Glad I did as it was just before the mub bath going into ickwell !!!

Well done to those of you that posted a good time. Charlie Palmer did a great time, in his trainers, although hes used to getting wet !!!

Think next week I will get there a lot lot earlier, starting at 7:53 after registering at 6:15 is pretty stupid, and why the increase to £4 a race, bit steep considering the outlay etc and the numbers turning up. The icknield 10 on tuesdays, and most other TT's are £2.

Does seem a bit odd that the entry fee to £4 has gone up when a coffee and cake is 45p - seems almost churlish to take the change for a 50p coin Rolling Eyes

A bit disapointed. I completely cramped up in my right calf 9 miles in and had to slow and stretch it out. Just cruised in after that. Would have been around 32 minutes judging by my split times and the finishing times of people who I was racing against.

Punctures, exhaustion, attacked by dingos, cramp, aliens stole my spokes (for antenna), Rob said I was a wuss, knocked off by Amazon Swallow...

always an excuse.

Pah! Whiners are always winners in my book.

9 miles in (sounds like a Who song) surprised you didn't ring NHS direct for advice and then a taxi to A&E.

Next...

The BRCC hasn't been in existence for 738 years for nothing you know.

£4 to ride covers
tithe to Parish overlord,
20% to Local Catholic Child Abuse Cover-up committee,
£1 to Save the tea-urn from locking up with Stalagmites Fund,
47p for orphaned Shetland Ponies in the opposite paddock (members use of only),
18.3% to Design council of Great Britain for non-inclusion "Worst Club Kit on Earth" competition (sadly this might not be true in future).
97p per rider per race for toilet facilities (large bucket...somewhere).
A quarter to reigning King of Mozambique for Pengu1n landing rights on roof...
1p towards "Get A Wider Fucking gate" fund...

now what's left for BRCC I ask you.

And you complain about £4 - you are all scum.

Which orifice on your skanky frame was the Garmin wedged in?
