Are we doing the Easter ride again?

I'm thinking Monday rather than Friday (as I'm working Friday - how selfish).

YES lets get this thing going.
Any day except Friday. Last year we had about 300 people out and they had to shut mid Bedfordshire.
It is the official start to the season!!!

100 miles...good idea Stu, I'd be up for that.
Probably best to take a look at the forecast and select the best day accordingly. I know James will be up for it too and probably Mssrs Jenkins, Peters (John) & O'Driscoll.
Suggest no birds though, sorry Mullen, Fisher, Janes etc

Sure the ladies can tag along for first bit then can drop off somewhere.

I am a serious doubt. The way things feel could be a doubt for the rest for season + 2009, 2010...etc...retirement? Will know more soon ...hopefully.

Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon look cold and windy, 5C, 25-35kph.

Fri gales (60kph+) so cold 7C sun/cloud, morning rain.
Sat very windy very cold 3C, poss sun..
Sun, windy and rain or snow, 6C. Pah.
Mon looks best for a ride. 6C, very windy but overcast with poss of sun.

Need to think a bit...
TT 11 (10.3), TT 12(11.3), Classic 40k (39.5), Sprint 20k (19.3).

Just a bit dull doing one of the same things again.
Sprint would be my choice of these evils.

10:30am Athletic stadium (yawn)?

The Early Bird Catches The Weather.
Good Fri morn 0830 at the athletic track 6 of us turned up for a lets see how it goes cycle. Ended up doing Maxs north Bedfordshire interval route.
32mls fantastic weather but a bit breezy. Did not get home till 3am so i was really pleased i got up.
Lynnies doing Grafham Water tomorrow morn so I am going to drive over there and cycle around it a couple of times on my mountain bike (miles in legs).
Normal club get together will be difficult this Easter with the weather forcasted so I suggest we leave it till May day bank Holiday.

Well done gings (in best patronimical voice).

You had finished before I got out of bed. Situation normal then.

Agree - weather is far too iffy to tell people to meet up and cycle - okay for the regulars but anyone new coming
out of hibernation...cold, slow, pointless.

Since my last post the plan has changed lynnie is going to run from Kemston to Sandy, along river path. Lots of turn around points and places they can be picked up from if weather changes. I am going to wait and see.
