what time do these normally start?

I now have a 75 minute daily commute to work, it gets tight to make it for 18:30 as I suspect the start time is.

Go traks indeed

Was fun in a very cold kind of windy sort of way. Amazing performance by elworthy, and yep I'll be your rabbit any time for 2 mins gap james. Worked well for me..........

Superb result too from windy miller - not that anyone would expect anything less from him - enforcer.

And everyone else that took part - did you notice the award ceremony, stinkyboy was the very - and I mean that grand receiver of 2 top prizes from last year......... for coming first in the veterans league, or senior league or something like that - superb result old boy, although there are a lot of oldies about now, and also another top prize, the sad git prize which I myself also received along with the great crested crane, a little award for doing 14 races out of 14 last year.......... yep we have no other life.

Good to seee some new faces, and some old ones from last year, hope you all enjoyed it and were full of adrenalin or treacle tart all night.

To those of you that missed it, come on down and enjoy the fun - we want more traktors !!!!

30mph winds - guess you guys with discs will be leaving them at home, else literally flying round the course !!

Prediction could be wrong of course........

Not at all. Discs are an advantage in the wind. However, if you come past bits of me spread across the tarmac PLEASE DO NOT REVIVE.

Afternoon Traktors !!!!!!!!!!

Looking out the dreary window (the square one) I see sleeting rain, trees being blown all over the place, and wet roads - welcome to the summer league.

Ok to prove I am no complete whimp, if my wipers are not on a speed above 3 out of 10 (10 being the fastest) on the way home I will come along tonight, but it may be on my hybrid bike. My way of thinking is a time is a time, and a fast tough ride is better than no ride at all. If the rain clears by 7:00 I will be the slowest of slows around the course on the heavy old thing, but if it stays rainy I will be one of the few to compete.

How I want another ever present medal for this year, to go with last years - go on max you know you want too. Unworthy goes too fast to notice the conditions, but may be confused and late as to what to wear, what to ride, then what to wear and how transparent his outfit will become in the wet. Steve will be out to prove that disc wheels work well in the cross winds - but he has a bonus with that low centre of gravity and riding a 51 frame !!!!! Rob will come in his speedos on the off chance theres a swim involved !!

oh well back to work, maybe see the hardy at 7:00...........
